Mardi Gras is just around the corner on Feb. 28, and there is no better way to celebrate the national day of letting loose than by eating some quality Cajun and Creole food, drinking fruity drinks, throwing some beads around your neck and having a great time. Luckily for Edgewater residents, Philadelphia is filled with award-winning Cajun and Creole restaurants, so you can celebrate Mardi Gras without ever getting on a plane.

Bourbon Blue, located at 2 Rector Street which is about seven miles from your Edgewater apartment, is a New American restaurant with New Orleans flavor, canal views and a lounge with live music on weekends.
