It’s a pretty well-known fact; cities aren’t always the best places for driving. This certainly doesn’t mean that city inhabitants don’t love cars just as much as anyone else, though. While we definitely don’t recommend that you parade a fine automobile around Philadelphia’s infamous rowdy drivers, that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate their beauty in the right setting. Car lovers rejoice! The Philadelphia Auto Show kicks off at the end of the month.
This huge event in polished motors and muscle cars starts on January 27th. Packed with so many displays and activities, you might even want to go twice to make sure you see it all. Auto Show Philadelphia doesn’t shut down until February 4th, so there’s plenty of opportunities to make the most of your experience over multiple days. Exhibits include “Hollywood Rides”, “Classic Car Collection”, and a selection of modern highly-coveted sports cars called “Super Car Show”. For attendees looking for a more hands-on experience, be sure to check out the “Ride and Drive Zone”, located at Street level, where you can test out a Kia, VW, Mazda, Toyota, or BMW around the block in Philly. There’s also displays from student racing teams, local car clubs, as well as an onsite gear shop. Extreme automotive fans can feed their anticipation at a black tie tailgate party for an extra fee.
The Philadelphia Auto Show will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Tickets are just $14 dollars, with discounts for children, seniors, and active military members. This world-class auto display and convention only comes around once a year, so don’t miss it.
